Why designing this tool?

Hong Kong's insurance landscape used to be very focused on agent channel. Given this nature, many customers used to think insurance is a very rigid product without transparency, and the ambiguous pricing has been a blocker for many as well.

Ensure the quotation process is simple and 100% transparent

With guidance from the virtual assistant Ella, you just have to answer a few questions to get your final quote on the health insurance.

  • Virtual assistant: We wanted to design the tool in the most interactive way as possible, hence the presence of Ella, the virtual assistant. She would guide you through the quotation process.
  • Use of graphics: Carefully integrated with the brand elements, we have designed different avatars with the objective of engaging with the customers better.
  • Simple and straight forward: Having this digital quote calculator have saved our customers from filling out long and redundant form, which in turns, saving a lot of time.
Data has shown improved user stickiness

Compared to the old quotation form, we have seen better engagement time on the tool. We have also received a number of positive feedbacks from our loyal customers. Results have shown the tool has helped customers to make decisions easier.
